World Thinking Day February 22, 2015

This is a great opportunity to learn about our world during the international "World Thinking Day" on February 22. This is a WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) initiative that dates back to 1926. There are special patches the girls can earn by participating in certain events. The World Thinking Day patch goes on the FRONT of their uniform (like a badge), rather than the back, like a participation patch. WTD patches are earned. There are also pins,all available at the Girl Scout Store. Visit this site for information and ideas. There is an activity pack you can download.
